BIOGRAPHY

Self-taught artist and experienced world traveler Matthew Kern uses a vintage Polaroid SX-70 camera as the first tool for his multi- layered photo collages. He was raised in Ketchum, ID and just recently relocated from Manhattan to Baltimore. Kern has shown at numerous venues in New York including a solo show at the New Art Center, curated by Barbara McAdam, editor of Art and Auction Magazine. His work can be found in multiple collections including that of the Nokia Corporation in Switzerland. Kern is currently represented by Divergence Fine Art in Baltimore, MD.
